Enhance your Google paid advertising for better results
You can add extensions onto your Google PPC adverts to increase the number of people clicking on your advert and make it easier for the customers to find what they want. Advert Extension
- Extensions can be added to Google adverts to enhance the advertising performance.
- Phone number extension – Your phone number will be attached to your adverts when searched for using a Smart phone so the advert can be clicked & the searcher get the option to go to your website or call you directly.
- Product extensions – Any products that are sold inside Google base (shopping) can be attached to your advert.
- Sitelink extensions – Allow customers to choose alternative key landing pages to land in your website.
- Location extensions – Good for companies with multiple stores as ‘Google wordMaps’ can be displayed alongside your advert showing store locations.

Google – Billion Dollar Business

During today’s Q3 earnings call, Google not only discussed its impressive earnings, but it did something it has never done before: It broke down the numbers from some of its key businesses, including YouTube and mobile.
Google CFO Patrick Pichette made it clear in the call that not only had Google (Google) never disclosed these numbers before, but it’s something it probably won’t do in the future, either. This was a one-time glimpse into the current state of Google’s mobile, display advertising and YouTube (YouTube) businesses.
Here are the key numbers that Google SVP of Product Management Jonathan Rosenberg shared during today’s call:
* Display advertising: The company’s annualized run rate for display ad revenues is approaching $2.5 billion, according to Rosenberg. Google called it its next billion dollar business, and that it’s already here. Much of Google’s display ad business comes from its $3.1 billion acquisition of DoubleClick.
* YouTube: While Google didn’t reveal specific revenue numbers for YouTube, the company did say it is monetizing 2 billion views per week, up 50% from last year. Recent reports suggest that YouTube is approaching $1 billion per year in revenue.
* Mobile: The annualized run rate for Google’s mobile business is $1 billion this year. More >

The most important aspect of PPC advertising is the analytic side of things. We take over campaigns for new clients all the time and there are hardly ever any GOAL SETTING implemented. This is key to understanding the cost of each conversion on your website, without this information you have no idea what is working and what is not. Most accounts are made up of just 1 campaign with all keywords crammed into it which also is a big no no and has a very negative effect on the quality scores. Google tries to calculate which advert works the best – if you have no specific adverts Google has no chance of helping you.
