Over the last 2 years we have worked very hard at improving our business, the processes, the systems, the end product and most importantly the client experience. At the start of all the change was the EMYTH Revisited book – a must for any company large or small. We created a mission statement as a team and have checked everything that has been put in place to make sure it stands up to our team values / goals, which is ”To create happy and successful clients”.  If our clients are happy – we are happy – if they are successful we are successful. All we have done is give our clients as much as we can. This has resulted in better products, better services and better client relationships.
My drive as the MD is an overwhelming passion to create a company that people like (call me needy – lol) and a product that works for their business. We constantly ask for feedback from both our clients and staff and always tweak the way our business operates for the benefit of our customers. I am working hard to create what I feel is the best company in the world… and I think I’m nearly there… but everything will probably change tomorrow…. I guess this is the insanity which comes with being an entrepreneur.

Anita Roddick, founder of The Body Shop, said,

”Dysfunction is the essence of entrepreneurship. I’ve had dozens of requests from places like Harvard and Yale to talk about the subject. It makes me laugh that ivy leaguers are so keen to “learn” how to be entrepreneurs, because I’m not convinced it’s a subject you can teach. I mean, how do you teach obsession? Because it is obsession that drives the entrepreneur’s commitment to a vision of something new.

Potential entrepreneurs are outsiders. They are people who imagine things as they might be, not as they are, and have the drive to change the world around them. Those are skills that business schools do not teach.”

Richard Branson, of Virgin fame, said,

“Above all, you want to create something you are proud of… I can honestly say that I have never gone into any business purely to make money… I’ve had to create companies that I believe in 100%. These are companies I feel will make a genuine difference.”
